How a gift is used

A gift goes to the general fund, toward whatever the site's running costs need next. All work on common-lisp.net is unpaid, so none of it goes to salaries. Gifts are received by the non-profit that holds the site. The terms are eight short points, and the numbers -- what has come in, what it has paid for -- are published as they happen.

The appreciation fundraisers for individual projects are paused.
